Information about Root Canals

If you are experiencing tooth pain, your teeth are sensitive to hot or cold, or your gums are inflamed and swollen, you may need a dental procedure known as Root Canal Therapy. If you have a deep cavity, it can cause major damage to your tooth. Also, if you have a crack in your tooth, it may result in an infection. If the infection reaches the nerves of the tooth, it can cause severe pain. Getting a root canal helps relieve pain and treat the tooth that has become infected. A root canal may be the best option for you if saving your tooth is your goal.

Making the crown takes about one hour. Once the crown is made, it will then be cemented onto your tooth. This can typically all occur within the same day!
