Dr. Phillip Greer is a native of Mobile, Alabama. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology from Auburn University before receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee.
Committed to continuing education, Dr. Greer has completed advanced training in cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, implant-supported restorations, CEREC same-day crown and veneer technology, oral sedation, Invisalign, laser dentistry, periodontal care, endodontics, and CT-scan interpretation. His implant education includes BioHorizons and TeethXpress training, along with experience in full-arch tooth replacement. Working closely with Glidewell Dental Laboratories and other respected labs, he has helped create more than 1,000 smiles throughout his career.

Dr. Greer's career was deeply influenced by Dr. John Morgan, a Mobile Bay-area orthodontist who passed away from brain cancer in 2001. Inspired by Dr. Morgan's legacy, Dr. Greer pursued dentistry and established Sweet Water Dentistry in his honor — a practice grounded in faith, service, and genuine care for every patient who walks through the door.
